Mary Saloka Morrison has been a physical therapist since 1980 when she graduated from Cleveland State University. She completed her Master of Health Science with the University of Indianapolis and is currently completing her Doctor of Science in Physical Therapy through the University of Maryland at Baltimore. She has worked in multiple settings: acute, rehabilitation, co-owned pediatric private practice, preschool for children with special needs, out-patient clinic.
Mary has a long-standing interest in posture and alignment, particularly as they are related to neurological and orthopedic movement dysfunction. She has been a Pilates instructor for typical adults and children with disability. She currently works for Lakewood Hospital in an outpatient clinic and for Children’s Hospital, Shaker Campus, Cleveland Clinic Foundation. For her doctorate, she is establishing an osteoporosis clinic for the proposed Cleveland Clinic Women’s Rehabilitation Center. She finds KinesioTape to be a useful tool for patients across the lifespan and has been a Certified Kinesio Taping Instructor since 2003.
